The study showed that photodynamic priming (subtherapeutic doses of light using ML6500) of tumor microenvironment with nanoliposomal BPD is highly beneficial for delivery of antibodies (Cet-IR800) to H&N tumor in mice. Priming significantly improved the tumor accumulation of Cet-IR800 and diagnostic accuracy of tumor detection, as monitored with fluroescence imaging.
