Modulight develops its business by leveraging its sustainability know-how and listening to stakeholders’ needs.
Sustainable development is part of Modulight’s daily work and an ongoing process. Sustainability is ensured in all operations and is communicated and reported in an open and transparent manner.
Modulight’s handprint (positive impact on society) is significant in relation to the company’s size, and footprint (negative impact) is small. The negative impacts of the operations are mainly caused by commuting and business travel, energy used to heat the property and purchases for the workplace canteen.
Sustainability-related systems and policies
Modulight’s material social, economic, and environmental responsibility themes are based on the needs and expectations of its stakeholders. To promote responsibility and sustainable development, Modulight has set sustainability goals, KPIs and measures to achieve the goals, and summarised the information in its sustainability program.
The Sustainability Steering Group coordinates the implementation of the program and is responsible for communication and reporting with the goal of ensuring that Modulight’s employees and partners have correct and sufficient information about sustainability objectives and themes. Information is shared through internal and external channels, and achievements are regularly reported to all stakeholders.
The Management Team and the Board of Directors are ultimately responsible for developing the business in an even more sustainable direction.
