Description

The ML6615 operates in the 2700–3000 nm mid‑IR wavelength range with up to 10 W of output power. Its wavelength region offers strong absorption in water and many molecular species, making it well suited for environmental sensing, dental and medical procedures, humidity detection, and micromachining of polymers and glasses.

Built on Modulight’s ML6600‑derived fiber laser architecture, the ML6615 provides stable single‑mode output, adjustable power range, and low optical noise. It includes the same advanced control electronics and interfaces (USB/RS232/RS422) as other ML6611 Series models but is housed in a larger mechanical enclosure (300 × 300 × 150 mm) due to mid‑IR optical requirements.

This laser offers reliable long‑term operation with ISO13485‑certified manufacturing and optional predictive maintenance capabilities via Modulight Cloud.
