Description
The ML6602 is a 532 nm single-frequency VECSEL laser system designed as a Ba ion gate seed laser for trapped-ion quantum computing applications. Based on Modulight’s in-house frequency-doubled VECSEL technology, it combines narrow linewidth, low intensity noise and high beam quality with high optical output power. The laser provides up to 1000 mW free-space or 700 mW fiber-coupled output, with a free-running linewidth below 1 MHz and stabilized linewidth of 1–100 kHz. It can be operated as a stand-alone system with a PC GUI or integrated into OEM systems, with free-space or SM/PM fiber output.
