All Wavelength-stabilized multimode lasers

Wavelength-stabilized multimode lasers combine the high optical power capability of multimode semiconductor sources with improved control of the emitted wavelength. This makes them useful where stable spectral output is important while the application still benefits from the higher power available from a multimode emitter.

Wavelength stabilization can be implemented using optical feedback or wavelength-selective structures, depending on the laser architecture. The resulting source can provide more controlled spectral performance than an unstabilized multimode laser while retaining the practical advantages of high-power semiconductor emission.

Modulight’s portfolio includes wavelength-stabilized multimode products as part of its broader semiconductor laser offering.
