Modulight announces 7 Watt 635nm Conduction Cooled Diode Laser; Applications include Laser Display, Medical, and Illumination

Tampere, Finland & San Jose, CA, Apr 2nd 2009 – Modulight today announced a 7 Watt 635 nm Conduction Cooled Diode Laser Bar for laser display, medical, and illumination applications. Developed from the well-known 4 W bar (ML1388) that is already qualified for use in PDT and cinema projector application, the new product is the latest member of Modulight’s ChiliLase red product line and produces 7 W of continuous-wave output power at 635 nm. The new laser in available as an unmounted laser bar (product code ML1515) or a low-smile CS-mounted laser (ML1806), offering Modulight’s customers increased brightness for their application.
