Rising star competition
Today Modulight is announcing a young clinician competition. The objective is to help clinicians, residents, and biomedical researchers below 35 years to get their hands on the best possible tools to support photoimmunotherapy. During the early 2016 we will ask the distinguished professors joining our workshops (San Francisco and Florida in 2015) to select the best research plan. Modulight will provide a laser for the winner for 3 years at zero cost to support her/his medical research. Detailed requirements and how to enroll in our related press release. We will announce our medical workshop calendar for 2016 in October this year.
Illumination kit for biomedical applications
Illumination kit
Modulight illumination kit (MLAKIT) is a perfect fit for biomedical sample illumination. Customers across several continents have found it a perfect fit to support their oncology research whether it be hyperthermia effect or providing light-induced catalytic effect based drug delivery enhancement. Modulight has already sold automated illumination kits which allow XY-stage manipulation with computer control. We plan to announce the product in Photonics West (Feb-16) for wider audience. Modulight illumination kits are perfect fit with Modulight ML7710 and ML6600 series lasers for the most demanding biomedical illumination R&D. We support both full well-plate illumination at once as well as illuminating different wells with different light dose. Contact us with your requirements!
Help the refugees
Participate in helping refugees
Modulight a member of Teknologiateollisuus part of EK is challenging all biomedical and photonics companies in Finland to participate to Red Cross relief program. All Modulight employees are free to participate one paid working day to collect money for this charity and we will donate 50 EUR per employee to Finnish Red Cross to help mitigate the mounting need of the refugees from Syria and elsewhere. Back to school 2015
Modulight participated and sponsored the ORC Summer school again this year. We have been sponsor since the beginning of 2001. This year we had first Biophotonics section with several interesting speakers and participants from 16 countries with total of 128 people attending the workshop. Summer school presentation materials are available for anybody interested in the website.
