Semiconductor Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop laser diode products and processes
Work with customers on cutting edge applications and new laser solutions
Integration and test support
Developing and documenting procedures to sustain and evolve high quality performance, Providing technical support to Manufacturing, Marketing and Service
Creating specifications to purchase components, and test equipment
Provide technical solutions to various semiconductor production related demands
Provide thorough documentation of work performed
Develop plans and procedures for fabrication of components, and for assembly, test and integration of optical systems
Conduct engineering analyses and evaluation of semiconductor processes
The successful candidate will contribute to the research and engineering of the next generation laser products as well as provide support to existing products
Contributing new and unique ideas as a member of a highly skilled technical team

5+ years of experience in one or more of the areas: semiconductor laser design, epitaxy, processing, packaging or characterization of optoelectronic devices
Demonstrated high academic records and demonstrated ability to complete things that you start
Team-player who both shares and listens
Handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously within a rapidly changing environment
Experience with data analysis and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, Python, etc.
Experience in developing and operating electro-optic test stations
The position requires highly motivated, extremely organized, and self-driven individual
Strong technical problem-solving skills and interest to constantly learn more
Handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously within a rapidly changing environment
Have a curious demeanour and enjoy solving difficult problems
As a member of the engineering team, this position will work closely with other engineers in the design and development of state-of-the-art laser industry. The successful candidate must excel in a project team environment, be able to find solutions to problems from rough requirements and have a commitment to high product quality
Good technical documentation skills in written English
